Sales Consulting Fees: Performance Based Sales Consulting

Sage Warfield Consulting Fees

When you hire a sales consultant to improve your  sales results, you aren't really paying for time...you are paying for performance. Why should you pay the same consulting fees even if the results are less than promised or expected?


Your investment in a sales consulting company should not be a gamble where you assume all of the financial risk. At Sage Warfield, we are partners with our clients and stand behind our performance commitment by assuming nearly all of the risk if sales revenue does not exceed your expectations.

Sage Warfield B2B Sales Consulting Fees

We offer two standard sales consulting fee options and each is equipped with a form of performance guarantee depending upon our client's unique goals and objectives.





Flat Rate Consulting - 10/10 Program




The 10/10 flat rate B2B sales consulting program is designed to provide our client with the certainty of a flat rate while providing a minimum performance guarantee. The 10/10 program establishes a minimum sales increase threshold of 10%. If this threshold is not surpassed, our client will only pay 10% of our flat rate fee.




Until sales revenue has increased by at least 25% per reporting cycle and been maintained for three consecutive periods OR a maximum of six months; whichever comes first. Typically ninety days.


Performance Guarantee:


90% fee reduction if B2B sales revenue is not increased by at least 10% per reporting period and sustained for three consecutive periods.




Performance-Based Consulting - 20/20 Program




The 20/20 performance-based B2B sales consulting program is designed to provide our client with a solution to hedge the risk of non-performance by paying 20% of our base fee. In exchange, the client agrees to pay a performance bonus equal to 20% of the annualized revenue increase.




A minimum of ninety days and not to exceed six months at the discretion of the sales consultant.


Performance Guarantee:


Based on a 50 rep sample size, annualized B2B sales revenue would need to increase by $4 million in order for Sage Warfield to break even compared to the fixed fee option. In exchange for accepting this risk, there is significant financial gain for Sage Warfield (and the client) in the event of dramatic sales growth.




** Please note that in addition to these two standard options, there are various hybrid pricing models depending on services to be performed and the relationship established between the client and Sage Warfield.




Why are we so confident?


Well, our confidence comes from our experience. We have never had a client who has not achieved double-digit sales revenue growth, and many of our clients have exceeded triple-digit growth within ninety days.  


Our roots stem from outstanding leadership. For example, our managing partner has stimulated sales growth by more than 100% repeatedly during his sales turnarounds throughout a twenty year professional career both as an employee and as a B2B sales consultant. At Sage Warfield, we are proud of the value that we provide to our clients, and our fees are normally a very small fraction of the increased sales revenue we deliver.


As you evaluate your options, take into consideration the net impact of our B2B sales growth and the savings resulting from reduced turnover to your team. If you do, you will likely reach the conclusion that we are far less costly than lower priced consulting options.


While we are certainly not the cheapest price in the market on the top line, we may be your lowest cost on the bottom line. Or more simply stated by the immortal Zig Ziglar, "Price is a one time thing, and cost is a lifetime thing." At Sage Warfield, many may beat us on price, but it is very hard for anyone to beat us on cost.
